A book that can be placed between the genres of essay and autobiography. Through personal experiences (the suffering of war and hunger, the memory of her dead husband, her experience as a wife and mother) the author exemplifies various virtues and characters of the people with whom she has shared some part of her life. It is a book that goes through a great variety of subjects, with a simple dand beautiful narration.
