This volume contains a collection of theological articles on Our Lady, written by these two great 20th century theologians. The main purpose of the articles is to clarify the place of Marian theology and devotion in the context of the whole faith and theology of the Church. Among other topics, it deals with the discussion that took place at the Second Vatican Council on Gaudium et Spes and its consequences; the biblical and patristic foundation of Marian piety; the unique place of Mary in the Church; and the feminine and Marian aspects of the Bible and the Church.
