The book is a good aid to those who seek to follow the Lord, to obtain the silence of the soul necessary to hear and understand His will. The author is a German Benedictine, who presents in this book the whole panorama of a Christian life. The chapters deal with the call of God to all men for a life of perfection, a constant spiritual battle, the constant struggle in the practice of human and supernatural virtues, and the frequent reception of the Sacraments. Book for Spiritual reading, very accessible for everyone.
