The "Via Crucis" is an exercise recommended by the tradition of the Church. In fourteen stations, the Christian follows Christ on his way to the Cross, in his suffering on the day he won salvation for mankind. Through the contemplation of the scenes, Susanna Tamaro speaks of faith to a society that seems to worry about everything but God. The writer proposes to re-live the great drama of human history through the abandonment in the hands of the Suffering Jesus.
