This is what should have been the "official" biography of Steve Jobs. This means that the author handles a lot of first-hand material (especially interviews with the biographer himself, as well as documentation related to Apple's development) and shows his sympathy for the character; he does not hide, however, his negative aspects: drug use in his youth, authoritarian ways, his relationship with his children, etc.
